Admission to the Program
The Ed.D. program is limited to qualified candidates who have completed a master’s degree or degrees, with no fewer than 60 graduate credits of study in education or related areas, and a GPA of no less than 3.5 in graduate coursework.
Potential candidates will also present their leadership certification and demonstrate potential for educational leadership based on prior work experience. Candidates must be CSA or SAANYS administrators, who hold at least their SBL, to be considered. (SAS certification also qualifies.)

To Apply, please submit these five items:
1. an application to Russell Sage Graduate School (please fill out the form for access)
2. a current resume (Please note: must be CSA or SAANYS members, with at least an SBL). This item can be uploaded directly through the application.
3. a statement of career goals supporting the choice to enter doctoral study at this time. This item can be uploaded directly through the application.
4. submission of official transcripts from all previously earned college-level credits. Please send transcripts electronically through Parchment. If your school does not use Parchment, official Transcripts can be mailed to the address below:

Once we have the above, we will schedule an interview at which we’ll ask you to produce an on-demand writing sample.
We expect more applicants than space and you cannot be interviewed until everything is in, so please get it all in as soon as possible. We will start interviews in March. Please have your information in before this to get the best possible chance at filling one of the limited number of spots in the program.

• Cohort begins in August. Students will be supplied with a complete schedule upon admission.
